i have been so busy with work, pure work, the past couple of days.
my weekend has been the worst in a very long time. even longer if you look at it, strictly speaking, with the work-is-making-it-suck point of view not taking in any other factors.
chinese new year, on hindsight, wasn't exactly very good in the long term. like, mountains and endless mountains of work that are so frustrating to handle. they never seem to stop coming. my takings for these few years isn't even that awesome with so many relatives passing away.
illustration: first period of the day, i got handed homework. what a fantastic start to the week.
ah, at least i've got the tutorials for the week mostly covered.
just essays and more essays to go. to the point that i'm getting very very sick of words.
especially seen in history.
i don't seem unhappy, but i really am feeling the pinch getting more and more painful this year.
i'm just not in the right frame of mind to express it to you.
"What a million filaments.
The peanut-crunching crowd
Shoves in to see
Them unwrap me hand and foot
The big strip tease.
Gentlemen, ladies
These are my hands
My knees."
a question that i've taken to think about- if you had to choose, which one would you pick:
1) keeping your 18 years' worth of memories, and not having any more, or
2) keeping your memories that you'll get in the future, but not having your previous 18 years' worth of memories?
leave your answers or comments to the question on the tagboard, i'd really like to know your views.
