ahhhh i just read that BSS is coming to singapore. i know people've been saying that for like a month now but READING IT on PAPER really confirms it and i'm HAPPY.
although it's gonna be at the esplanande concert hall and there probably wont be anyone moshing and running around and jostling and then there won't be any atmosphere but at least i'll get to see someone interesting LIVE and for the first time go to a concert that can actually be called a concert. lol.

my mortal totally rocks my sox her letters are really easy to respond to and her gifts are like WHOA. =) brown teddy bear my fave. and the 1 3 candles.

well something happened that day when i was going to parkway to buy a gift and (if i couldnt resist) a CD which i really shouldnt have thought of buying cuz i was overspending during the week.
anyway, i was on my way out when i met germaine (i hardly talk to her, let alone meet her at the bus stop. coincidence?) and she told me that i should take 16 which just came (coincidence? i think not.) on the bus ride there i was thinking that i would definitely get a CD, but my conscience was nagging me not to. then it started drizzling and i didnt have an umbrella which i usually brought to school. ho hum. then, at the cross junction before the stop at parkway, the bus TURNED. lol. oh dear. the bus led me straight to katong mall, and there was (surprise surprise,) a Cold Storage. which sold chocolates. no CD shops to tempt me there, and the rain stopped me from walking to parkway just a 5 minute walk away without the rain. just chocolate and a wide cheap selection of goodies. i saved 10 bucks that day.
then, today on friday night, after a really good run, my dad came home and passed me, out of the dark blue, a golden 20 dollar Borders voucher. =DDDDDD

as i was saying before i kinda rudely interrupted myself, i had this really great idea for an Angel&Mortal gift. it's like this. i got simin to fold my letter into something rather compact. then i put it in two layers of good ol' ziplock bags. then, i go to parkway and make a hell of a fool of myself by asking the bubble tea man to put my stuff into the bubble tea cup and of course, fill the cup up with my gift. then the seal will come on and TAH-DAH! a nice little letter in a gift. =)


there was also the chinese presentation...which i was really proud of, our slides were amazing. i was so worried it would seem substandard. i dont really have much powerpoint experience...but thanks to shermaine's little guidances, i managed to make it look satisfactory, with the small efforts i put in. shermaine's a really cool groupmate.
